I just double-checked with our team, and there is space to fit 5 regular bikes or 3 e-bikes on the GO EASY Kayak Trailer. Imagine lining up 5 bikes side by side on the trailer’s crossbar. If all the bikes face the same direction, their handlebars—since they stick out to the sides—will clash and overlap, making it tough to fit them all within the available space. This is because the handlebars are the widest part of the bike, and when several bikes are oriented the same way, those wide sections compete for space. However, if you alternate the direction of each bike—so every other bike is facing the opposite way—the handlebars of one bike will nestle into the space taken up by the narrower rear wheel of the next bike. This arrangement is similar to fitting puzzle pieces together, as the widest part of one bike fits into the slimmer section of the adjacent one. By alternating directions, you maximize the use of the trailer’s crossbar and can fit all 5 bikes securely and efficiently on the GO EASY Kayak Trailer without their handlebars interfering.
