Hello! That's a great question, the LOFT already comes with a super comfortable 2" pad but adding the Cloud layer mattress on top will make it enjoy more enjoyable. For 2 people, I would recommend 2 of the small Cloud Layer Mattresses and for 1 person just one large Cloud Layer Mattress. Feel free to call us for more details, tips and tricks!
