Hello! The light part of the WayLight is not detachable but recharges are a whole unit through the micro USB charger (included).
Are the lights detachable for charging? WayLight Hiking Pole
There may be times when hiking during the day that you will not need lights. Or it maybe easier to charge if the light can be brought close to an outlet for charging.
