Yes, adding another mattress to the LOFT would provide extra support but depending on the type/ thickness of the mattress the LOFT may not close with the additional layer.
Would adding a second Loft mattress add extra support? Would it cause problems closing the Loft? Replacement: Mattress, LOFT
