Static loading involves weight that remains constant and does not experience any external forces during rest. Dynamic loading involves weight that's in motion and subject to additional forces during movement. The GO EASY has a 300 lbs. capacity for the crossbars while driving or 495 lbs. for the GO EASY Ultimate between the deck and crossbars. You could have more weight on the trailer while parked. For example, the LOFT rooftop tent and 2 people could exceed the dynamic rating weight but since the kickstand, tires, and stabilizer jacks would be in place, the weight would be distributed on the entire trailer.
