Warm water and a mild detergent applied with a sponge should remove any stubborn dirt on the footprint. You can also use this same method for the tent body as well.

So glad we used the footprint. It did a great job protecting the base of our Gozeebo in a rainstorm. Now that we are home, how do we best clean it? Hung it up to dry, but want to get the caked-in dirt from the mud off of it.
